I don't feel much compunction about lifting another's list and now ed's comment has allowed a few thoughts to bubble to the fore.
What ambition some people have! I am curious whether Morphius (or whomever) constructed another such list a year back.
Perhaps I will investigate.

I just glanced at Dark Orpheus' list for 2006 and while it was loaded with manga and other shit that I will never encroach upon, there was considerable meat to be found and savored.
While viewing Beowulf this evening, the thought flew into view that I might read some William T. Vollmann next year.
